In early 2025, we started out with a single, non-negotiable directive. Every business decision we make—from the partners we choose to the code we write—is driven by the answers to two simple questions:

• Who does this help?
• What is the long-term impact?

With technology growing more complex, we want to ensure it is available fairly and used to solve problems, not create them. While our small size means we can't tackle everything, we are committed to thoughtfully investing our time in frequently ignored or overlooked areas where we can make a real difference.

As we continue to lay our foundation, we are proud of our early work in:

• Special Education: We support AI enhancements that empower educators and students.
• AgTech: We developed Tracee, our digital tool taking Acres to Analytics, and we provide advanced engineering services to farmers and foresters.
• Open Source: We are proud to be an open source software shop with our code available on GitLab.
• Community Engagement: We mentor the next generation of scientists and engineers and actively volunteer in our local community.

What's Next? Our curiosity is as broad as our commitment. We are currently exploring the frontiers of rare disease research, and we are always on the lookout for challenges where we can lend a hand.

Because we are a registered Virginia Benefit Corporation, we are required to assess our social and environmental performance against a recognized third-party standard. We chose to evaluate ourselves using the B Impact Assessment. We use this framework not just to measure where we are, but to map where we're going.
